Made with a calendula infusion for the water portion and calendula infused olive oil for the oil portion, this cream is fabulous for all types of skin and all the issues calendula works amazingly for. The ingredients have low comedogenic levels to keep this cream great for acne prone skin just as much as dry, sensitive skin. Calendula does infuse well into water, but its resinous nature excels at infusing into oil. Therefore, this cream of ours is slightly thicker than our other creams since we included a higher level of infused oil in it. In that regard, a little goes a long way. A 4 fl.oz. jar will last me (Rose) an entire winter season. Works quite well after a shower/bath, as a hand cream, for feet, and more. Calendula is a sunshine flower. To reflect that, we scented it with sweet orange and litsea cubeba essential oils for a citrus fragrance. Both essential oils have their own benefits for skin, as well as the mango butter included. We HIGHLY recommend you research all about calendula and how it’s traditionally been used for skin in particularly. As long as you’re not allergic to calendula, you will LOVE it.
